- Learn more about MINK PRO i-Size with MINK FX base – a car seat for children who are 40–75 cm tall, which is from birth up to 13 kg. It allows you to transport your child in the rearward facing (RWF) position, which is five times safer for young children. Thanks to the MINK FX base, installation of the car seat is very easy – all you need to do is affix the base using the ISOFIX latches and support leg, and then attach the car seat in just a few seconds. You only need to install the base in your car once.
- MINK PRO i-Size comes with an internal insert that decreases the space between the child's body and the car seat, increasing safety and comfort. The MINK PRO i-Size car seat also features the H-GUARD SYSTEM and SPS, which provide effective protection for the spine and head. The car seat is equipped with a convenient carry handle. This position is five times safer in the event of a head-on collision. In addition, the car seat also meets the latest R129 i-Size standard, and has been tested under rigorous conditions in crash tests.
Insert for young children
The MINK PRO i-Size with MINK FX base as a car seat for children up to 75 cm in height comes with a memory foam insert in the headrest. It ensures the child's comfort when travelling, and decreases the distance between the shell and the child’s height.
Installation on the ISOFIX base
Installation of the MINK PRO i-Size car seat is extremely simple and takes just a moment: you affix the MINK FX base to the ISOFIX system and support leg once, and then attach the car seat. The base features correct installation indicators – when they’re green, you can be on your way. You can also optionally affix the car seat without the base using the car’s seat belt.
Safety systems
The MINK PRO i-Size car seat is equipped with the H-GUARD SYSTEM, which provides effective protection for the child’s head and neck thanks to the reinforced, three-layer headrest. In addition, it features reinforced side protection in the form of the SIDE PROTECT SYSTEM to protect the shoulder and spine in the event of a side-on collision, absorbing energy created from the impact.
Adjustable headrest
The headrest can be adjusted 35–52 cm. When adjusting it, you’ll automatically be adjusting the height of the internal safety harness, allowing you to even better tailor the car seat to your baby. The safety harness features soft pads that prevent it from slipping on clothing.
The car seat can be affixed to a pushchair frame
If you have universal adapters and a pushchair frame, you’ll be able to affix MINK PRO i-Size to it. This is particularly convenient on short trips, such as when you need to pop out to the shops with your child. And thanks to the MINK FX base, you can remove the car seat from the car and reattach it in just a few seconds.
